Live Love Day 2009

We believe connecting people through partnerships is one key to building strong communities. For this reason in conjunction with the National Make a Difference Day in October each year, we join with the City of Chandler in hosting Live Love Day for Chandler. We strive to bring together volunteers to work side-by-side in local downtown neighborhoods, in order to restore beauty and dignity in the lives of our neighbors. Surveys from selected neighborhoods are completed and service projects are being planned for over 500 volunteers and 80 residents who will join together to bring a face lift to three downtown Chandler neighborhoods. In addition, education materials will be available for residents regarding local service organizations, block watch programs and other community programs. Projects will include include painting homes, landscaping, clean up, planting flowers/shrubs, weatherizing projects, and various other repairs. Efforts are being made to secure sponsorships and funding for the materials needed to complete the work projects this year.

· We are accepting monetary donations to purchase project materials for home improvements.

· We also invite professionals to donate their skills as electricians, plumbers, roofers, painters, etc.
